We wrote lots of scripts on the test environment and this all was ok.
But now we're trying the scripts on the production server and it allworks very slow.
For testing we copied the production db to the .... read more

Hi,I need some advise with a java applet. I am nearing completing of the project and am getting a little concerned how long it is taking for the applet to load. I have developed the java applet with Jbuilder using the JDK 1.1.8 as I need to support users with that haven't installed the latest version of the Java Runtime.
So I have been searching the internet trying to see how to speed up the loading process. I've notice that some applets on the web have a loader, that displays a nice.... read more

Hi! I use SuSE 9.1 with KDE 3.2.1. After the latest security upgrade I have this very annoying issue: when I type in the URL line of konqueror a tilde (~) in the same moment KDE becomes totally unusable, I can only move the mouse, nothing else works. I have to restart KDE. I use dead keys (easier for accented letters), but this setting worked before this update.
Any suggestions? Marcus

When i instantiate one of these classes onto a canvas, the mouselisteners for pressed, released, clicked etc all work fine on the filling of the polygon, however not on the stroke (border/outline).
This means if i have a rectangle with a height of 0 (i.e. it appears as a line) rolling the mouse over it fires no events.
Why is this, and more importantly, is there anything i can do about it? Ill post my code if its ne.... read more

I'm trying to install right now. I did some googling and found that Ineeded the 4.0.4-B version, which I found here: http://www.med.nyu.edu/it/wireless/ I see some peeps in this NG have also had issues. Should I be using VPNC? http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/vpnc/ It didn't seem right. I have a caclulator thingy which gives me a passcode. Also, i did this when I was testing Mandrake 10 and it worked. I just amgetting round to it under SuSE.
