OS4 on Mac hardware?
23/08/2017 12:57
Has Amiga inc ever considered releasing OS 4 as a Mac operatingsystem? Even though Apple has stopped making powerpc based macs theexisting base of used hardware is certainly bigger than they couldever hope to saturate, and much, much faster than their proposed specreleased a short while ago. There are plenty of linux versions thatboot no problem on mac hardware so that shouldn't be a problem. Theycould also sell with the os a pci card with a rom on it, or a usbdongle for non pci macs. It seems the best route to go.

Like getting a G4 1ghz with 2gb ram, 250gb hdd and running amiga os4 that would be very nice indeed, and it would only cost about £200.
