Desktop icons in different positions for different hardware profi....

I have a notebook PC that I use in a port replicator, in a docking station, and undocked. My desktop icons seem to have different position settings for each of these hardware profiles. I would like to be able to put the icon in one place and have it stay there no matter where I dock Any ideas?

ThanksNaas
