Thump 1.50 beta 7
03/01/2018 10:19
Hi, Christopher, the brains behind this development, has issued beta 7 which is a bug fix release.

There is one point to be aware of as the resulting crash is very terminal. Thump has probably always done this but maybe no-one had managed to recreate the exact circumstances. The work around is ever so easy. If !Png2Spr has not been seen then Thump will not thumbnail PNGs but issues an error. On some subsequent operations to that window Thump will attempt to do something with the non-existent PNG with disastrous results. The work around is the obvious one, ensure that !Png2Spr has been seen first and the easiest way to do that is to have it in the ame directory as !Thump. It is fine thereafter.

This is a full release, remove or delete the previous version and instal this one in its place.

The 32bit !Png2Spr is also available.

With thanks to Christopher for the good work. -- David Pitt.

I don't have the error message anymore ! The only thing I can think of that changed on my harddisc in the meantime is the new boot supplied on riscos open. Problem sorted I hope.

Can I ask whether it is the built version that is being run or is it an own build from the source.

I'm trying to run the program on RO4 and RPC SA (is this ok ? there's no requirement section in the readme).
