SMTP server cannot write to ....

Out of nowhere, my server cannot send emails out. I check the event log (system) and find Event ID: 420, SMTP server cannot write to file XXXXXX...eml I check the MS SMTP service is running fine, so I stop and start it. Problem not resolved. I restart the server, also the domain controller. Problem not resolved.

Now I check the event log, and I get Event ID: 420, SMTP server cannot create file XXXXXX...eml Suggestions? Thanks, Lance

10/01/2018 18:33 - Just to update this, I found the mailroot folder and started going through the Badmail, Drop, Queue, etc folders and found some old emails and deleted them. That fixed the problem. What I can't figure out is why the drive where this folder is located on only has 15MB allocated to it.
