[newbie] Video card recommendation
01/08/2018 10:46
Hi all, I've always *liked* QNX, as an escape from the bloated and slow clunkyplatforms that I typically have to deal with.

I have QNX 6.2 Non-commercial on a box at home, and I'd like to build a couple more, primarily as light browser/ICA clients. I'm finding that theio-graphics subsystem is burning my CPU time and video update is very slow.

I've tried an nVidia card in VESA mode (very bad) and I'm currently usingan S3 card in native mode (slow). What is the ideal choice of framebuffer forthe job?

nVidia seem reluctant to supply details on supporting their cards, so consequently you won't find many supported cards from them.
