Amiga on the Web
12/10/2018 12:57
Hi all, Finally got my A1200 surfing the Internet, yeah! I have theTermite TCP/IP program and an old version of IBrowse (1.0I think) and played around with the AWebII Demo. I see thereis another browser out there called Voyager...

There are things I like about AWeb and IBrowse. I'm kindagetting used to the IBrowse program though (uh-oh). AWebseems a little more modern and familiar. Also want/need agood E-mail/newsgroup reader...

My question is this: what is the browser of choice for usAmiga users? There is nothing more I'd love than to be ableto use my A1200 for all my needs (pipe dream maybe), but Ithink at least my internet needs *can* be taken care of. The versionof IBrowse I have kinda sucks. I cannot even log into my Yahoomail account with it. Says that something is not supported.

I've been using the super primitive mail reader with my Termiteprogram, but there has to be something a little more userfriendly?!? I want to be able to surf the web and see/hear (although soundis not as important) everything I am used to seeing using IE.

BTW: I am not using pirated or copied versions of this software!I *will* support the companies that are still supporting the Amiga.

I know there has to be a good browser/E-mail/Newsgroup clientout there. Which one do you like best??
